It is very easy to switch from one position to the another and adjust head position to the appropriate portion of the pillow. The pillow is very comfortable in all three positions, back, right, and left side. I think the company could be a little more detailed in their set up and use instructions. The pillow is used without pillowcase, which is not explicit in the directions. Also they could be a little more detail as far as the spacer at the bottom of the pillow. once I got used to sleeping with this pillow, I doubt that I will ever use another kind of pillow.
