As we got the diabetes under control through diet, he started coughing..constantly. He would cough all night long; keeping him and us up. It was a terrible feeling not being able to help him. We thought it was hairballs because he was excessively grooming but nothing would come up. Back to the vet (he is NOT a fan of going there) and was diagnosed with asthma, possibly bronchitis. However with his diabetes, we could not give him prednisone because it could spike his blood sugar to a dangerous level. We were instructed to only give it to him if his breathing became very laborous (like mouth open when sleeping) because he would likely end up dying from the blood sugar spike. I started my internet search because there had to be another option. I'm soo glad I found this product. It only took a few doses to see improvements; his coughing was less and less frequent with each dose. He has been taking it for a few weeks and he is back to himself! No signs of respiratory issues. Running, playing, jumping, doing all the kitty behaviors we were missing. We are so thankful that this helped him! I'm not sure he would be with us if it weren't for it.
