The temperature reading gets stuck on the last reading after it is turned off. This means that if I boil water to 212 degrees and then turn off the kettle, the next time I add water and turn it on the temperature reading remains at 212 degrees. Upon doing more research, I found YouTube reviews and Reddit posts describing this problem dating back over a year. I contacted customer support about the issue and included a video documenting exactly what was happening They offered me a replacement kettle under the warranty. I was skeptical that this would solve the issue based on my research and said so, but the customer service representative assured me that the problem was a sensor hardware issue. I made a trip to the post office to return the kettle and waited for my new kettle to arrive. Sure enough, the new kettle has the exact same issue. Now customer service admits that the problem is indeed a known firmware bug that affects every single kettle. It's incomprehensible that a kettle at this price point would have such a basic issue, and I'm frustrated that customer service gave me the runaround and wasted so much of my time.

It arrived quickly and was packed extremely well. The lid is very easy to remove and fits snugly on the kettle. The handle is comfortable to use because of the angle and the material it is made of. When the water is being heated it is much quieter than our previous kettle. It’s just what I wanted in a kettle and I’m glad I bought it.
