A game-changer and all around wonderful product!: We've been using a kettle on our gas stove top for decades, but several things always bothered me about it, namely the handle getting hot and dribbling from the spout. Add to that recent research into the health effects of long-term exposure to natural gas fumes, and it seemed like it was time to make the switch to an electric kettle. After reading numerous user reviews, I settled on Fellow's Corvo EKG Pro and couldn't be happier with that decision. It's so much faster than the stove top, pours wonderfully, and the ability to select (and hold) a precise temperature is a life-changer. My wife prefers scalding-hot water, and I do not, so this makes that super easy to address. No more waiting for mine to cool down, or trying to add JUST the right amount of cold water. The design is also lovely, making it feel like something you're happy to display on the counter, rather than wishing you could hide it away in a cupboard. A wonderful product all-around, and my only regret is not purchasing one sooner!

The temperature reading gets stuck on the last reading after it is turned off. This means that if I boil water to 212 degrees and then turn off the kettle, the next time I add water and turn it on the temperature reading remains at 212 degrees. Upon doing more research, I found YouTube reviews and Reddit posts describing this problem dating back over a year. I contacted customer support about the issue and included a video documenting exactly what was happening They offered me a replacement kettle under the warranty. I was skeptical that this would solve the issue based on my research and said so, but the customer service representative assured me that the problem was a sensor hardware issue. I made a trip to the post office to return the kettle and waited for my new kettle to arrive. Sure enough, the new kettle has the exact same issue. Now customer service admits that the problem is indeed a known firmware bug that affects every single kettle. It's incomprehensible that a kettle at this price point would have such a basic issue, and I'm frustrated that customer service gave me the runaround and wasted so much of my time.

Solid kettle: Kettle looks great and works, but I find it small and loud when boiling. There's also no hope of hiding the cord and after boiling it's slightly annoying that after removing you have to manually turn it off...
