Last month it happened that I was working under the sun in the garden for at least 6 hours without water and the next day I had painful cuts from my skin splitting at the nail beds of 3 of my fingers. I suffered in pain for many days and drinking water was not helping. I did some research online and found that Boron helps with this (see the National Library of Medicine and others). I took a dose before going to bed and the next day the pains were almost gone. By the second day there was no pain and the wounds were almost completely healed. I continued to take a dose in the morning and evening for the 1st 2 days then a dose every morning for a week. A friend had deep painful cracks on his feet for weeks!
