I was searching for a truly sustainable, biodegradable alternative to my plastic yoga mat for a long time before finding this one... A breath of fresh air: I am so happy that I purchased this cotton yoga mat bag set! I was searching for a truly sustainable, biodegradable alternative to my plastic yoga mat for a long time before finding this one (I donated my plastic yoga mat so it did not end up in a landfill). So many companies that claim they are using real rubber are actually using a synthetic rubber substitute which is NOT biodegradable or natural (an example is Jade yoga mats - look carefully at their FAQ about their rubber source) and they often use a glue between the rubber and cork of questionable source. But this one is 100% biodegradable. This cork yoga mat is wonderful, and so is the bag - it is very durable, and the perfect size to fit my mat, water bottle, scrunchie, blocks, and strap. I wanted the bag strap to come around one shoulder, diagonally cross my back, and rest at my opposite hip: the strap is a bit long for this in its original configuration, but if you keep one end of the strap clipped in, thread the strap though the opposite metal loop, and then adhere the second clip on the same metal loop as the first, you can get this "diagonal" length perfect for your body. I bike everywhere, and this bag is PERFECT for biking to my yoga class. Do not be afraid of the weight of the cork yoga mat - first of all, your yoga practice makes you strong enough to carry an extra couple pounds, and secondly you will literally not even notice the difference after carrying it a few times. If you are like me, searching for better, truly earth-based yoga materials, ananday is doing it waaaay better than any company I have seen. It also came with literally zero plastic packaging as promised. I feel much more connected to the earth when my hands are touching real cork rather than plastic. Would definitely recommend this product. So glad I treated myself! :)

I love my new Ananday mat. It feels so buttery against my skin and has just the right amount of cushion. Not to mention, the bag is just about everything I was looking for! I love that I can fit my blocks with my mat and strap. Now I just need to get the mat cleaner to keep everything fresh and clean, and then the ball set... and then the travel mat - I want them all!

This is the most comfortable mat for my body and my knees (I am 5’6 and 230lbs for reference), the thickness is just right for my yoga exercises and the blocks are also very comfortable to grip on as I use them for support in some of my stretching exercises. Everything does fit in the bag perfectly, I’m so happy with my purchase and I will definitely be purchasing again and when I do I will leave another review to tell you guys about how the mat turned out. See you when I’m a couple pounds lighter, haha! ALSO, I Loved the mat soon as I touched it. The quality is immaculate!
