I would light it for at least 1-2 hours so to keep the candle in good condition, however when I moved the candle to another spot I soon noticed the wall behind where I had it was tinged with a blackish color (the walls are white). I swiped my finger across the wall and I got a pretty good amount of black soot. I then took a towel and some cleaner and was surprised at how much black soot was on my walls. I've burned a lot of candles in that same spot and have never seen this before! Upon looking at the candle itself I could see the glass also had a some soot, but not as bad as my walls. I know candles develop that after prolonged use, but I've never had it basically stain my walls. I'm kinda scared to burn it again to be honest.

It would be even better if there was a replaceable insert option so that you could reuse the glass containers.
