He was missing 2-3 days of school a month due to debilitating migraines. His neurologist recommended 300 mg of magnesium as a preventative. He can’t swallow pills yet and couldn’t tolerate that much magnesium citrate, which was the only form we could find in a gummy at local drug stores. I ordered this hopeful that it would sit on his stomach ok and it has worked wonders. Since starting this magnesium powder 6 weeks ago he has had only one migrain and that was the day after he spilled most of his dose the night before. We did find that he can’t handle 300 mg of this magnesium- it did upset his stomach in that large of a dose, but we’ve been giving him 100 mg of magnesium citrate in gummy format for the last year to help with sleep so we do a combo 200 mg of this powder and the 100 mg gummy.
