Ineffective: I have had this product a short time and when slide completely open, liquid only dribbles out. I am unsure if I received a defective lid, but my experience is this lid is ineffective to drink from. Love the... Great addition to the Carter Move Mug: Game changer! Wish this cap was part of the bottle, not sure why it isn’t already! Great style, but durability sucks: I love the slide lid’s style and functionality. It makes my fellow coffee mug the one I use 95% of the time for work coffee. However, I’m rating this so low because the plastic threads... Great style, but durability sucks: I love the slide lid’s style and functionality. It makes my fellow coffee mug the one I use 95% of the time for work coffee. However, I’m rating this so low because the plastic threads on the lid crack and break off in a matter of months with moderate use (4 days a week). Once that happens, the liquid leaks out of the lid onto your hand with every drink. I’ve even purchased several replacement lids because I like the style that much, but their flimsiness makes the cost not worth it long term (and is super annoying). Please for the love of the gods, make the threads metal or rubber or something… I’d use it foreverrrr
